1- Purpose
The purpose of this document is to declare Trootter's commitment to your privacy and personal data which is collected and processed with your use of the website under the terms and conditions laid out in 'Terms of Use'.
2- Collected Data
The data is collected and then processed which is provided voluntarily by the user of the website on the Registration Form (Sign Up)  which includes email address, user name, password, date of birth, certification acceptance that you are over 13 years old and agree to the terms of use and private policy. After confirming your email and logging in you are given the option of entering and updating your profile. You may enter your sex, relationship status, your description in your own words, home town, current city, current country, occupations, companies, schools, interests and hobbies, favourite movies &shows, favourite music, favourite books, friends, and friend's emails. The only data automatically collected is your IP address (your computer address). It is important to note that whether or not you are a registered user, the website may implement an automatic tracking process (cookie), which you may block by changing your browser settings.
3- Purpose of Processing
The data indicated at the time of sign up is mandatory and is required to use the website's features (photos, comments, adding photo to your favourites, etc.). Data collected automatically by the website allows us to compile statistics on web page visits, an important feature for our bandwidth utilization and allocation. Trootter is a UK based website company but the web-server is Canada based. The data is therefore kept in the server in Canada. All data is safe and password encrypted.
4- Recipients of Data
Your data is not transmitted or given to any third parties. However, Trootter may release data if the law requires it for any reason or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with state and federal laws (such as U.K. or Canada Copyright Law) or respond to a court order, subpoena, or search warrant or to protect Trootter's rights and interests. It is Trootter's policy, whenever possible and legally permissible, to promptly notify you upon receipt of a subpoena, and not produce your data until approximately two weeks after receipt of the subpoena, so that you will have adequate opportunity to move to quash the subpoena in court.
5- Security of Your Data
Trootter gives high grade priority and importance to the security of your data and takes all appropriate steps to limit the risk that it may be lost, damaged or misused.
6- Data Storage
Data is stored on the premises of the Website Host and is only kept as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out above. After that point, data is kept only for the statistical purposes and shall not be used for any other reason.
7- Your Rights
You are entitled to correct your data at any time if you login and click 'edit profile' in 'my profile'. If you forget your password, it may resend to you in your registering email. Or you may send an email to support(at)Trootter.com. We may ask some proof of your ID and your incorrect data details and your password to do carry out any amendment requested. A new password may then be issued to you and you may change it after logging in with the password provided to the one you wish to register.
